Ontario online gambling revenue in June up 30 per cent year-over-year, taxes surpass $2.5 billion

In figures released today by iGaming Ontario (iGO), total gross online gambling revenue for June in Ontario was $400.6 million, down three per cent from May’s total of $413.1 million, which was the second best month in history.
June marked the sixth time total online revenue has topped $400 million – all coming in the last eight months. The total for the month was up 30.5 per cent year-over-year from $306.8 million reached in June of 2025.
Online casino revenue of $316.8 million in June was the fourth-best month in history, but the figure was down three per cent from the all-time record of $326.5 million reached in May.
Sports betting revenue of $78.6 million in June - which included the first three weeks of the men’s World Cup of Soccer - was also down three per cent from May ($81.3 million).
Online poker revenue of $5.2 million in June was down four per cent from May ($5.4 million).
Total online gambling revenue since launch – not counting the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s (OLG) numbers – is now more than $12.6 billion with nearly $9.5 billion (75 per cent) coming from online casinos, $2.8 billion (22 per cent) from sports betting and $259.7 million (two per cent) from online poker.
Total taxes in the 50 months since launch have now surpassed $2.5 billion to approximately $2.52 billion (20 per cent of revenue).
