Beginning with the Parleh newsletter in January 2021 when McAllister chronicled the march of Bill C-218 towards amending the Criminal Code of Canada to open the door for provinces to offer single-event sports betting to covering the early months of Ontario’s wide-open, regulated wagering and igaming market, McAllister and Silver discuss the role of the newsletter – along with weekly “shows” Twitter Spaces – in shining a light on the stories, the players and the issues in the industry.
